Route 202 and Tamenend Avenue Traffic Signal – Mr. David Holewinski has deferred discussion on this topic until the next Planning Commission meeting due to the absence of Mr. Mark Hitenlang who possess the expertise to conduct discussion of this topic.
Open Space Plan – The Planning Commission reviewed the Council Draft Open Space Plan 2012 prepared by Mr. Peter LaMontagne. Mr. Tom Yatsky analyzed the proposed draft as it relates to zoning requirements and validity/accuracy of property outlined. Several adjustments and changes are required to make the draft accurate including TMP references. Discussion ensued regarding unbuildable and questionable nature of use for several properties outlined. The Planning Commission decided to conduct a second review of the draft to be discussed at the next Planning meeting. Mr. David Holewinski ensured all Planning Commission members were provided a copy of the Comprehensive Plan and a copy of the old Open Space plan.
American Heritage – Discussion has been deferred due to readiness for presentation.
Town Center & Sand Road Traffic Light – Mr. Karl Dieterichs raised the issue of timing regarding the traffic light for vehicles coming from Sand Road. Mr. Dieterichs’ observations on several occasions indicate a timing/cycling issue for this traffic light. Ms. Robin Trymbiski will have L’Amoreaux Engineering assess the effectiveness of timing.
Proposal for Micro-Brewery – Mr. Tom Yatsky received a request for installation of a micro-brewery on the Boden property. The micro-brewery is intended strictly for manufacturing and distribution. The Planning Commission is receptive to discussion and suggested inviting them to a Planning Commission meeting.
