Bucks County has a new service available to provide you with local alerts about emergencies, severe weather and road closures either via email or on your cellphone.

The service is called ReadyNotifyPA and it is completely free.  You can customize the types of alerts you receive, what municipalities can send you alerts, and how you want to receive alerts.
