Volunteers Needed for Nature Preserve Work Day This Saturday

Hello New Britain Borough Residents,

Volunteers are needed for a Nature Preserve Work Day which is scheduled for this Saturday, September 23rd from 9:00 am until noon. The group will meet at 9:00 am at the main entrance to the Wilma Quinlan Nature Preserve on Mathews Avenue. Participants should bring gardening gloves, tools and shovels for digging planting holes.

Directions: From Butler Avenue, turn onto Sand Road (across from Town Center). Follow Sand Road to the end and turn left onto Mathews Avenue. The preserve entrance is on the right.
